Prerelease for Murders at Karlov Manor is just days away! At the moment, we have just a couple of spots left in our Friday evening draft, as well as room in our Saturday morning sealed league prerelease! And if you miss out, we still have plenty of other events coming soon. On Saturday, February 10th, Labyrinth will be hosting an Open House to teach new players how to play. If you bring a friend you can each receive a special Cultivate promo. And then throughout February we’ll be running Standard Showdowns on the 16th, 23rd, and 28th. And finally, we have our Store Championship on March 3rd, where the winner will take home a pack of Magic's 30th Anniversary Edition. 

 

In other news, this week’s featured single is a foil copy of Deranged Hermit from Urza’s Legacy. For five mana, you get (at least for a turn) 9/9 worth of creatures. Though not widely played, Deranged Hermit is on the Reserved List, making it particularly collectible, and this copy even more so by virtue of it being foil. Though the card is moderately played, it’s still eminently playable, and the front face, in particular, is in excellent condition.
