The coming Outlaws of Thunder Junction set; the next RCQ; and an event to celebrate 50 years of D&D with Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate!

It's just another Magic Monday!

Outlaws of Thunder Junction is stampeding towards us, and we and we've got space in just a couple of prereleases!

Right now, there’s room in Sunday afternoon's traditional sealed, as well as Saturday morning's sealed league-style prerelease. Sealed league prerelease is a great way to dip your toe into the new set. You get three packs, then every win earns you a prize pack, and for every loss you can buy a new pack to improve your deck. It should be a heck of a hootenanny, and we hope to see you there.

After prerelease, we have many exciting events. April 20th, we're hosting an Open House, which is a great chance for new and returning players to learn Magic. Just stop by and play and you’ll receive a special Diabolic Tutor promo. And if you bring a friend to their first ever Magic event, you both receive special promos of Cultivate, Transmutation Font, and Oltec Matterweaver!

Then May 5th, we’re hosting Regional Championship Qualifier, where the top two finishers will get invites to the Regional Championship Washington, DC, right in our backyard. The format for our RCQ is going to be OTJ limited, and it should be a barn burner.

Finally, we’re celebrating 50 years of D&D by hosting a very special draft of Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate on Saturday, May 18th. Players will receive a collector booster to open before they start drafting to build their card pool. Then they’ll draft as normal, build commander decks, and duke it out in pods for the chance to win another CLB collector booster.
