Come for the Games, Stay for the Mushroom Cats
We’ve had a delightful week of cardboard, cats, and chaos here at Labyrinth, and we think you’re going to want in on the fun.
First up, behold the glory of Mushroom Cats— possibly the cutest game we’ve ever laid eyes on. It arrived, we played it immediately (you know, for science), and half the staff bought it before the shrink wrap cooled. If you like mushrooms, cats, or joy, this one is for you.
Also fresh on our shelves this week:
Catan 6th Edition – the classic returns with a fresh new look and all the hex-tile trading drama your heart desires.
Cyclades (new edition) – the Greek gods are back and still delightfully petty in this beautiful and brutal area control game. (Will be on our webstore soon. Available in store now.)
23 Knives – a tense deduction game that’s part Clue, part court intrigue, and all kinds of stabby. What side of history will you be on?
Skyjo Action – yes, it’s Skyjo… but now it has moves.
Horrible Therapist – in-store only, and exactly as gloriously awkward as it sounds. You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe, you’ll heal? (Probably not.)
Bonus round: LEGO lovers rejoice! We just received a massive LEGO restock. We might have gone a little overboard—but is there such a thing when it comes to LEGO? We think not.
Final Fantasy + Magic fans: a small batch of the Final Fantasy Magic: The Gathering set is now up for preorder. Quantities are super limited for now while we wait to see what Wizards of the Coast actually sends us. (Spoiler: probably not enough.) Those fancy Commander decks? We're not holding our breath, but we’re trying.
So whether you're here for cute cats, divine battles, or sharp knives (in game form, of course), it’s a good weekend to swing by and see what’s new.
As always, thanks for supporting small, local, and delightfully nerdy.
