Join us for Labyrinth's in-person Pokémon Gym Leader Challenge! We have 24 seats available for this event, space is limited, so please do not bring any large backpacks.

Recommended age is 12+ for this tournament. Players need to understand the rules of the game and be able to play without the help of a judge. Penalties may be awarded based on rules mistakes.

Pokémon Player IDs are required.

Go to pokemon.com to sign up for a Pokémon Player ID number. Make sure you bring it to the store on the day of the event!

This event is Gym Leader Format and will begin promptly at 11am. Please plan to arrive no later than 10:45AM. You need to bring your own deck for this event.

Gym Leader Challenge has very special deckbuilding rules. Please read below to make sure your deck will be legal for this tournament.

• Gym Leader Challenge uses the Expanded Format (Scarlet & Violet cards will not be legal)
• Each deck must be 60 cards.
• Each deck must contain only Pokémon of a single type.
• Only one copy of each card is allowed, except for basic Energy.
• Pokémon with a rule box are not allowed. (This includes Pokémon EX, GX, V, VSTAR, V Union, and any other cards with a rule box.)
• ACE SPEC cards are not allowed.

• Oranguru (Sun & Moon - Ultra Prism 114/156)
• Lysandre's Trump Card (XY-Phantom Forces 99/119 and 118/119)

• Forest of Giant Plants (XY-Ancient Origins 74/98)

Cost for this event is $15, which includes prize support. Prizes will be store credit for top finishers.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: We will require all participants to show proof of being fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after your final shot). A photo on your phone of your vaccine card is sufficient. A mask over nose and mouth will also be required at all times while in store. Also, no food or drink will be allowed at the event. Safety is our top priority, and this event will have limited capacity.
