Use your talents of negotiation and your life's savings to build your fortune! It won't be easy. In Chinatown, the hard laws of the market rule.
Welcome to the 1960s in New York! A new immigration act triggers a demographic boom. Immigrants move into Chinatown, by the thousands, to build a new life.
Chinatown is a negotiation game in the truest sense. Players acquire ownership of sections of city blocks then place tiles, representing businesses, onto the block sections. At the end of each turn, each tile you've laid earns you a payout, but completed businesses (formed of three to six connected tiles of the same type) pay better. All the resources are dealt to the players randomly, however; so, players must trade to get matching businesses and adjacent locations.
In a game where everything can be negotiated, only those whom can navigate the hard laws of the market will prevail!
