Leading a family of fruit farmers, the players will find that fruit bats – so called flying foxes,
once considered to be fruit thieves – are indeed useful for their farming endeavors.
While it's true that the bats are eating the fruits from their trees, they also spread the seeds,
overall helping to increase the amount of trees that they can farm. This led to a symbiotic lifestyle
between farmers and bats in which the farmers keep the bats as pets in order to grow their
farms more quickly. However, the more bats, the more space they need...
