Labyrinth's Annual Used Game Sale will return in 2021!
This year's sale will be on Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5. As in past years, Saturday will kick off the sale with auctions throughout the day. This year, in order to minimize the number of people in the store at any one time, we will only be hosting live auctions (outside in back of the store) and sealed-bid (or secret) auctions in the event space. You can see the schedule for the auctions here. Sunday will conclude with a rummage sale, with prices dropping as the day progresses. Bidder registration (see below) is required to participate on Saturday. Masks will be mandatory both inside and outside in the auction area.
All of Labyrinth's proceeds from the Used Game Sale benefit our community initiatives, including the Labyrinth Teacher Fund and the demo library. We will be auctioning off our life-sized Chandra statue at 5:30pm with proceeds going to our Extra Life team for National Children's Hospital. We really appreciate the support our community has always shown for this great event!
Our customers and community contribute the games to the sale and they can choose to receive 60% of the sale price in cash or 80% in store credit. Submissions have ended, and we are no longer accepting any more games for this year's sale. We normally sell games and puzzles, but this year's sale is only games. We may hold a used puzzle sale in the beginning of 2022 so stay tuned.
Aug 28 - Sep 3 – Register to bid in the auctions
Sep 4 – Auction (live and sealed-bid) - 10am to 6:30pm
Sep 5 – Rummage sale - 10am to 5pm
Sep 8 - Sellers will receive an e-mail stating which games have sold and if they need to pick any remaining games up. Games need to be picked up by September 12. This e-mail will also include their share of the proceeds.
Sep 13 - Store credit will be on the seller's store accounts and/or checks will be ready to be picked up.
